ONE ACCORD

One Accord is the result of prayer and praise in response to the command, commission of Christ.              To effectively preach and teach the word of Lord in order to reach the people of Lord.

We endeavor to create an atmosphere that causes unity in this the body of Christ.  A fellowship dedicated to uniting the body of Christ .Our prayer is even as the Lord Jesus prayed to the Father John 17:22, "...that they may be one even as We are one".

One Accord’s mission is to carry out the great commission of Jesus Christ set forth in scripture:        Matthew 28:19 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:”


OUR PLEDGE

We pledge our lives to Christ and covenant with each other to demonstrate His Spirit through worship and witnessing, by ministering to the needs of the people of this church and the community. The first “One Accord Church is our example”.

Where the truths of scripture are what keeps us in harmony and operating in the fullness of the Spirit's power. We should be determined to be like minded, with our hearts set as a flint, in the operation of the Holy Spirit. Remember in the 1 st Century church, they were with one accord before the Holy Spirit came with fire and power. How much more should we be like minded and in harmony we have the indwelling of God’s Spirit?

Our motto is “Get in the Glory!” understanding that the GLORY is the visible manifestation of the presence and power of God! 

The God we serve is the God Who reveals Himself, He shows up and He shows out! Yet He also hides Himself not from us but for us. God must be known so He makes Himself shown. God is so much God that He reveals Himself in phases and stages because we cannot handle Him all so He increases our capacity to contain Him. In fact we would not know anything about God unless He revealed Himself.
